Lego Custom Cardbacks: Charred Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru

Charred LEGO Custom-6February 14, 2015 – On this Valentine’s Day, we note that Star Wars’ couples in love usually do not meet with a happy ending. For example, Anakin accidentally kills Padmé (“Noo-o-o-o-o!”) in Ep. III, and Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru are brutally murdered in Ep. IV.

Charred Uncle Owen cardbackHasbro will never release Charred Uncle Owen or Charred Aunt Beru as 3.75″ action figures for obvious reasons of taste. But as we reported earlier HERE, Ebay auctions indicate great interest among fans who might want to collect these macabre figures. (The winning bid was over $711 for this charity auction to support Rancho Obi-Wan.)

Another custom cardback maker offered his version of “Charred Remains” on Ebay for $24.95, as previously reported HERE.

So why not take it to the next gruesome level? Why not offer a totally-not-suitable-for-children hybrid: Lego skeleton minifigures attached to cardbacks for “Uncle Owen (Charred Remains)” and “Aunt Beru (Charred Remains)”? That’s exactly what TD 5491 Phenix Customs has done on his Facebook page.
