May 12, 2015 – Star Wars clothing and merchandise can sometimes seem a bit too guy-centric. So here’s something for the ladies, fangirls and their supporters to cheer about: Voice actress Ashley Eckstein (she plays the role of Ahsoka Tano on Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels) will be introducing new stylish Star Wars fashions for women and girls through Her Universe™, which she co-founded with The Araca Group.
The all-new 2015 fashion line will include Star Wars dresses, cardigans, skirts, fashion tops, hoodies, tunic tanks, t-shirts, and even an Ewok crochet purse. These will be available in a special boutique located within Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida at Star Wars Weekends beginning May 15, 2015.
Ashley Eckstein will be returning to Disney’s annual Star Wars Weekends event for the seventh year in a row. On the HerUniverse.com website, she states: “I’m so excited to return to Star Wars Weekends with our new Her Universe collection for women and girls. It’s an exciting time to be a Star Wars fan and we have fashion designs for every occasion to show your love of this timeless and beloved franchise!”
An entrepreneur and a popular voice actress, Eckstein will also perform on stage as host of the Padawan Mind Challenge Family Edition – an interactive Star Wars trivia challenge – at Star Wars Weekends. Fans and autograph-seekers can meet her in the Audition Room and at the Her Universe™ boutique every weekend of the event:
