How To Create Your Own Star Wars Banner for May the Fourth “Star Wars Day”

TFA-Trailer2-Stormtroopers&Banner
May 4, 2015 – Banners and flags have flown proudly in some of the Star Wars episodes. Think of the prelude to the Pod Race in The Phantom Menace (1999) as well as various celebratory scenes. And now the second trailer for The Force Awakens shows a massive black-and-red Empire banner dwarfing the stormtroopers below.

StarWarsBanners-Party Now you can create your own easy-to-make Star Wars banner and hoist your Nerd-Flag high for everyone to see. Makes a great party tablecloth, too!

Thanks to designs and seven pattern downloads from Jedi Master Heidi at maythefourthbewithyoupartyblog.com, you can inexpensively create a banner from one of seven Jedi or Empire logos pictured below.

If you would rather just purchase pre-made banners (“Happy Birthday”; “Jedi Training Academy”; etc.), that’s fine, too. For a great selection, see what’s available by the creators at Etsy HERE.

Also take advantage of the many May the Fourth sales events. HasbroToyShop, for one, is offering free shipping on all Star Wars items purchased. Click banner and enter promo code “May4”.
