Super Rare Carded Variant

June 24, 2021 – Despite Hasbro’s and other toy companies’ best efforts, sometimes a production error slips past quality control and into the marketplace.

An action figure, for example, may have its cardback mislabeled with another character’s name. Or the cardback photo shows the correct character, but from the wrong era (e.g., young Anakin vs. older Anakin). These rare errors sometimes make the carded figure a valuable collectible in the secondary market.
